Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies has conducted its Annual Quality Manual Review (QMR) from 23 May-30 May at the iLearn Conference Room, Intramuros Manila.

Spearheading the said activity is ILS OIC – Deputy Executive Director Brenalyn Peji who is also the Quality Management Representative (QMR) for the Institute, together with Bernard Paul M. Mangulabnan from the Employees Research Division, as the Team Leader for ILS’ internal.

Manila, Philippines – The Inter-Agency Committee on Research and Statistical Matters held its 2nd IAC-RSM Meeting for 2017 last 12 May at the iLearn Conference Room of the Institute for Labor Studies, Intramuros, Manila.

ILS women employees attended a forum for women’s rights organized by the Embassy of France on 16 May, 2017 at the Century City Mall events center in Makati City.

The forum highlighted different initiatives of women supporting other women in various fields such as politics, civil society, and the academe, bringing women forward as actors of their own empowerment.

Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies OIC-Executive Director Mary Grace L. Riguer is one of the 3,747 successful examines who passed the 2016 Bar Examinations based on the official results released by the Office of the Bar Confidante of the Supreme Court last 3 May 2017.

Together with the rest of the 2016 bar passers, Atty. Riguer took her Lawyer’s Oath last 22 May at the Mall of Asia Arena before the 15 justices of the Supreme Court and officially signed the Roll of Attorneys the following day, 23 May 2016.

Manila – Researchers from the Institute for Labor Studies recently underwent a three-day training on Survey CTO last 22-26 May at the iLearn Conference Room, Intramuros, Manila.

The activity was made possible through the combined efforts of the institute’s Technical Division Chiefs namely: Maria Isabel D. Artajo of the Employment Research Division, Patrick Patriwirawan, Jr. of the Labor and Social Relations Research Division and Miraluna Tacadao of the Workers Welfare Research Division.
