QUEZON CITY — The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) has officially begun fieldwork activities in the National Capital Region (NCR) for its ongoing research on workers’ view towards labor standards and workplace practices.

QUEZON CITY – Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) Executive Director III Jeanette T. Damo served as one of the resource speakers for “Getting Ready for National Determined Contributions (NDCs) and Just Transition: Learning Session for Children and Youth,” on 23 May 2025 via Zoom.

MANDALUYONG CITY – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) met with key management representatives of TV5 Network Inc. on 28 May 2025 at the TV5 Media Center in Sheridan St. Mandaluyong City, as part of the Institute’s research on titled “Exploring Social Dialogue Mechanisms in Upholding Decent Working Conditions of Freelancers in Broadcast Media and Theater.”

ILOILO CITY – Researchers from the Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) concluded their three-day data collection activities for the ongoing study on women’s economic participation in childcare facilities, held from 21 to 23 May 2025 in Mandurriao, Iloilo City.
