Intent on implementing improvement in its processes particularly in financial reporting, the Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) has sent six of its employees to train for the “Enhanced Electronic New Government Accounting System (e-NGAS) and eBudget version 2.0 held at the Professional Development Center, Commission on Audit (COA), Quezon City last August 8-12, 2016.

The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) held its strategic planning session in Country Chateau Hotel in Tagaytay City, Cavite last August 23-24, 2016.
"As researchers, you need to make your work count. It needs to be of value to someone You cannot be timid about your ideas. Find your champion within the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)," said Assistant Secretary Katherine Brimon during her keynote speech.

Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) will be launching the first Gender and Decent Work policy rounds on September 1, from 8:00am – 1:00pm at the Cinematheque Centre, T.M. Kalaw Ave., Ermita, Manila.
The event titled, “SOGIE x Decent Work: Inspiring Action for Workplace Inclusion and Empowerment for LGBT Workers,” aims to be an innovative platform for policy discourse on gender-based issues and concerns on labor and employment. This will be hosted of the ILS’ Gender and Development (GAD) committee, in partnership with key players and tripartite stakeholders.
