The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS), in compliance with Government Procurement Policy Board (GPBB) Resolution No. 09-2020, has adopted the electronic submission and receipt of bids for procurement modalities by providing an icon titled Online Submission of Bids (OSB) in the homepage of its official web site www.ils.dole.gov.ph.

The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS), in support of its reiteration of Work From Home work scheme through ILS Administrative Order 2020-36, and to enable the smooth facilitation and monitoring of requests for services of all the Institute’s divisions, is also implementing a tool for Online Service Request (OSR) in lieu of the printed Service Request Form (SRF).

The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) joined in the celebration of World Day Against Child Labor (WDACL) with a promotional material posted in its official web site and facebook account highlighting this year’s theme “COVID-19 Sugpuin, Batang Manggagawa Sagipin!” last June 12.

In connection with the said celebration, Batang Malaya - Child Labor Knowledge Sharing System (CLKSS) has also launched the “Batang Malaya Multimedia Arts Contests” on the said theme in the following activities: slogan making; greeting card making; poster making; essay writing; jingle making.

Manila – In celebration of Pride Month, employees from the Institute of Labor Studies participated in the webinar hosted by the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) titled “Gender Gaps in Social Protection Coverage in the Philippines,” last June 18 via the Cisco Webex platform.

Employees of the Institute for Labor Studies ((ILS), led by Executive Director Ahmma Charisma Lobrin-Satumba and Acting Deputy Executive Director Patrick Patriwirawan, Jr., held its very first virtual send-off for its Acting Supervising Labor and Employment Officer Carl Rookie O. Daquio, last June 12 via the online meeting platform Zoom.

Mr. Daquio will be taking on a new role as Senior Officer, with the Labour and Civil Service Division of the Human Development Directorate under the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) Department, and will be based in the Jakarta, Indonesia office of The ASEAN Secretariat.
