The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS), together with the Institute for Labor Studies Employees Association (ILSEA), held its first online brownbag session on the topic titled “Mental Health and Social Care in the Time of Quarantine” via Zoom platform last March 25.
Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies Employees Association (ILSEA) received its approved Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) for 2019-2022 from Director May Antonette D. Arriola of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Field Office–BSP last March 3 at the ILS office in BF Condominium in Intramuros, Manila.
The approved CNA was accepted officially by the Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) management, represented by Executive Director Ahmma Charisma Lobrin-Satumba, and ILS Employees Association (ILSEA), represented by Union President Maria Isabel Artajo.
The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS), through Executive Director Ahmma Charisma Lobrin-Satumba, received a congratulatory letter from Department of Budget and Management Undersecretary Laura B. Pascua on March 31 for having successfully complied with the FY 2018 Performance-Based Bonus (PBB) requirements and qualifying for the grant of the bonus.
Attached with the letter was the summary of the final Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) assessment and the Institute’s FY 2018 Agency Scorecard.
Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies recently conducted its Year-End Planning Assessment last February 20-21 at the Bakasyunan Resort and Conference Room in Tanay, Rizal. This was presided by ILS Executive Director Ahmma Charisma Lobrin-Satumba with Acting Deputy Executive Director Patrick P. Patriwirawan, Jr., together with all the Division Chiefs of the Institute, namely, Camilo Franco S. Cabusas of the Finance and Administration Department (FAD), Miraluna S. Tacadao of the Labor and Social Relations Research Division (LSRRD), Paulina Kim C. Pacete of the (Employee Research Division), Maria Isabel D. Artajo of the Workers Welfare Research Division (WWRD), and Reinerio A. Alba of the Advocacy and Publications Division (APD).
The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) Acting Deputy Executive Director Patrick Patriwirawan, Jr. presented an overview of the Green Jobs Act (RA 10771) during the Luzon symposium on the theme “Corporate Social Responsibility as a Response to the Future of Work and the Challenges of New Globalization, Climate Change and the Fourth Industrial Revolution" held at the Bayview Park Hotel last February 7.
